On Foreign Policy – The Eye of the Tiger

In his post “The Fruits Of Weakness”, Charles Krauthammer opines that “This is not just an America in decline. This is an America in retreat”. He’s right.

Our foreign policy appears now to be based on appeasement, diminution of American power, and denial of American exceptionalism.

On appeasement, Heywood Hale Broun quips that "Appeasers believe that if you keep on throwing steaks to a tiger, the tiger will turn vegetarian." I add that you are in big trouble after you run out of steaks. The tiger, now that he no longer has a reason to laugh at you or keep you around, eats you - or worse – torments you.

Speak softly and carry a big nuke! Obama’s visionary notions include a world without nuclear weapons, a world where American power is diminished to singing “Kumbaya” as his idolaters worship at his feet. He would have it that our enemies only need a little nuke. Read more on this in “The Dangerous Illusion of Nuclear Zero” by Feith and Shulsky in The Wall Street Journal.

Obama’s one-world fantasies project the antithesis of American exceptionalism. BHO’s secular statist minions are conducting a major assault on all the absolutes that make American pride meaningful. Only then can we be reduced to the lowest common denominator – a Godless, flagless, relativist mass crouching fearfully at the feet of a statist tiger!
