I just finished watching the debate and was wondering who planned it to be a hatchet job on Perry. The questions and their timing made it look like Fox had their people go after a Perry/Romney confrontation with an emphasis on hurting Perry. The quest for TV ratings seems to have supplanted the search for the truth! The last question, pick your VP now, was a TV Game farce. I would have to say that the loser of the night was Fox. – JS

[And then the market absolutely tanked again today! The Fed doesn’t have a clue and needs to learn the old saw that “when in doubt, do nothing! – JS]

The Fromms face additional fines of $500 per meeting for any further “religious gatherings” in their home, according to the Pacific Justice Institute. The city’s action is a brazen violation of the First Amendment, which guarantees free worship without government intervention. [Want to bet whether they would allow study of the Koran? – JS]

Obama Creates Chicago Solution to Chicago Problem at Solyndra: [The Solyndra guys] thought they were dating the prom king when courting Obama and his government checkbook. But really, they were getting juice from a loan shark, Chicago-style, and they didn’t know it. Maybe that’s why all of sudden the business guys who wear ties for a living and who were so ready to cooperate with the investigation into Solyndra are going to make like mobsters and invoke 5th Amendment proetction when testifying before Congress on Friday.
