Conservative on Target! Biden, CCB, Lion of Judah, GOP Debt Deal Fiasco, Coming Home

Tim McGraw > If You're Reading This: [I’ve always thought that this is one of the best “Coming Home” songs ever. Many of us once wondered if we would – JS!]

Democrats Reject Republican Debt Deal: "I have said repeatedly, including last night and again today, that I will not support any agreement that fails to raise the debt ceiling though the end of 2012," he said. "Anything less than that will fail to provide the certainty that the markets — and the world — are looking for, risking an immediate downgrade of America’s credit rating. This would force a tax increase on all Americans, and drain their savings funds and retirement plans as well." ~ Harry Reid [It amazes how the Democrats have managed so effectively to make the RINOs take the blame for the debt ceiling stuff. This will go down as one of the worst managed GOP efforts in history and ought to end Boehner’s reign! – JS]

Fierce, Wild and Passionate: Whoa. Talk about a Braveheart. This is one fierce, wild, and passionate guy. I have never heard anyone in church talk like that. But this is the God of heaven and earth. The Lion of Judah.

CNN Poll: Two-Thirds of Americans Support ‘Cut, Cap and Balance’ Plan
: … a CNN poll released Thursday shows that two-thirds of Americans support the system established by the CCB Act. Sixty-six percent of respondents said they approved of a plan under which “Congress would raise the debt ceiling only if a balanced budget amendment were passed by both houses of Congress and substantial spending cuts and caps on future spending were approved.” Sixty-three percent of Democrats and 65 percent of independents said they would approve of such a plan.

Quote Joe Biden, spelling bee champion: "Look, [John's McCain's] last-minute economic plan does nothing to tackle the number-one job facing the middle class, and it happens to be, as Barack says, a three-letter word: jobs. J-O-B-S, jobs."
