“Race As Focus”,“Alinsky Redux #?”,”DISMAL Scorecard!”, “Nothing Holier”, “Liberty”

Allowing race to become the focus shuts out the very message that blacks need to hear! Talk about racism may help employment for those in the race business. But it has little relevance to getting the American economy working again, which is what we should be single mindedly focused on. And allowing race to become the focus of public discourse shuts out the very message that blacks need to hear. That they are disproportionately hurt by a recession being prolonged by excessive government growth and interference. Read more…

Alinsky Redux! How the Left is Goading the Right, and the Right is Taking the Bait!
“The enemy properly goaded and guided in his reaction will be your major strength.” -Saul Alinsky
This is the Democratic strategy in a nutshell. I wrote earlier about the Alinsky Reaction Chain, and the current methods employed to keep conservatives off track are nothing more than a continuation of those thoughts.
Why is a race such a hot topic? Because if you’re talking about race, you’re not talking about 9.5% unemployment, a quadrupling of the deficit in one year, the corruption and failure of the stimulus, the unpopularity of Obamacare, the failure to address illegal immigration, the fact that the majority of the nation doesn’t want the Federal Government suing Arizona over S.B. 1070 or any other myriad of unpopular policies and Presidential failures.
The Left wants you to talk about race, birth certificates, obstructionism, and anything else it can think to throw at you that will cause an emotional response and make you react without even thinking about it. It’s not an accident, it’s a tactic and it’s working. Read it all…

SURPRISE! The White House budget office offers a DISMAL scorecard on Obamanomics: To put it another way, Democrats have been undertaking a vast fiscal policy experiment, blowing out the federal balance sheet in an effort to show that a country can spend and tax its way to prosperity. Look no further than the numbers in the White House's own budget review for the unhappy lab results. Read it all… [ Be sure to see the graph contrasting Obama/Reagan deficits! – JS ]

“There is nothing holier, or better, or safer, than to content ourselves with the authority of Christ alone.” John Calvin

"How bad do things have to get before you do something? Do they have to take away all your property? Do they have to license every activity that you want to engage in? Do they have to start throwing you on cattle cars before you say “now wait a minute, I don’t think this is a good idea.” How long is it going to be before you finally resist and say “No, I will not comply. Period!” Ask yourself now because sooner or later you are going to come to that line, and when they cross it, you’re going to say well now cross this line; ok now cross that line; ok now cross this line. Pretty soon you’re in a corner. Sooner or later you’ve got to stand your ground whether anybody else does or not. That is what liberty is all about." -- Michael Badnarik
