Getting involved in the process is fine, but not if you are content to just be a foot soldier for the party insiders who are happy to have you do the work, but are not particularly interested in what you have to say.So many are uncomfortable sitting on the side lines. This is good. They should not be sitting on the sidelines. They should be out rocking the boat, speaking up when things just don’t smell right. The world needs more whistle blowers… even if it means getting involved with the party of darkness. The system is run by those who show up… have you shown up? Have you spoken up in the forums that count?
Corruption flourishes when people don’t pay attention to the details of what is going on… in your neighborhood, in the country and around the world. Shine a light on dishonesty in government and in the schools. This will take some effort and courage. If the information you need is not readily available… dig it up yourself. It takes work and it will be frustrating, but only as you progress will you know the satisfaction of accomplishment.
Only you can know when you are really on track to be the person you were ment to be… when you are fulfilling your calling in life. What isn’t right that has come to your attention? Dig into it. You won’t win any popularity contests by taking on entrenched corruption. But if you don’t do it, who will. It won’t always be easy, but if you step out and do something, you will be soaring with, not just pelicans, but with eagles.
