Via The Business Insider, “there are some weird things going on in the jobs report, but the headline number was a joke, and as such, the scariest jobs chart ever looks horrid.”
Via Calculated Risk, “the pace of the jobs recovery is not only not in line with past "recoveries" it's not even at the pace it was a few months ago. Maybe worse yet, The Labor Force Participation Rate declined to 64.2% in January (blue line). This is the lowest level since the early '80s. (This is the percentage of the working age population in the labor force. The participation rate is well below the 66% to 67% rate that was normal over the last 20 years.)”
Hmmmmmmm. How come the White House and it’s minions don’t show us this stuff? Are they always in campaign mode? Will we ever see Obama as the Leader in Chief rather than The Politician in Chief?
