In the video New Concerns About Tea Party in D.C. Senator Marco Rubio appears to have decided not to join the Senate Tea Party Caucus.
Senator Rubio needs to let Tea Partiers worry about being co-opted and quit using DC “politispeak” because he doesn't want the Tea Party label to cost him votes.
More importantly, in the future, the Tea Parties will not have the time and resources for those who are too afraid or too “political” to join a Tea Party caucus.
If I were Senator Rubio, I would worry about the forces that are co-opting him and urge him to reconsider this decision.
